The Braunschweig Lions have decided to organize a charity tournament for kids. The tournament will take place on June 24th at the Rote Wiese sports ground. The participants are teams from the police, customs, volunteer and professional fire brigade, the JVA Wolfenbüttel, the municipal clinic and Siemens Mobility. The goal of the tournament is to raise funds for kids and promote the good cause. The 'Wir helfen Kindern e.V.' association will be supported by providing comfort bears for the patrol cars and using its capital for building traffic gardens at schools. There, the children can practice driving safely. This is not only fun but also makes a significant contribution to road safety work. The Braunschweig Lions want to collect donations to support the 'Wir helfen Kindern e.V.' association. The participants of the tournament will meet at the Rote Wiese sports ground to win attention with sports and collect funds for the good cause. The Braunschweig police will take over the public relations and you can reach the press office at telephone: 0531/476-3032, -3033 and 3034 or by email: pressestelle@pi-bs.polizei.niedersachsen.de.
